74 Karat Waterless Digital Offset Press

The PacBlue Team believes that every piece of equipment we choose is very important in how well we are able to service our customers.

Our 74 Karat Digital Offset press is able to print up to 7500, 19”x 28” double sided copies per hour and is economical at short runs. This press is a waterless press, recognized as one of the most environmentally friendly presses you can use to produce your print jobs.

One of the key benefits of the Karat press is its' larger 29″ sheet size and the quick ‘make-ready’ where the machine is printing customer ready product after only 15 sheets. This vastly reduces wasted paper when compared to traditional offset printing.

This fabulous press met two goals for us:

  1. Expanding our capability to offer short to medium run offset printing to our customers which provides them with a high quality end product.
  2. Providing the most sustainable offset printing option in Vancouver's lower mainland. This press uses 98% less water in the printing press versus conventional offset printing and when combined with our FSC certification, customers can now be assured that they are printing with the environment in mind.

Through its use of soy based inks, completely waterless printing technology, and inline aqueous coating, the 74 Karat press provides the highest quality eco-friendly print solutions you’ll find anywhere without sacrificing print quality one bit!
